Seals are divided into two categories: dynamic seals and static seals; static seals can be divided into three categories: gasket seals, rubber seals, and contact seals. The dynamic seal is divided into two categories: rotary dynamic seal and reciprocating dynamic seal.
1) Static sealing: According to the size of the working pressure, static sealing can be divided into medium and low pressure static sealing and high pressure static sealing. It is usually used in occasions where tightness requirements such as inter-stage sealing are not high. Dynamic seals include centrifugal seals, floating ring seals, spiral seals, etc. It has high sealing performance, but it consumes a lot of energy and it is difficult to obtain a high pressure head. Non-contact sealing, because the sealing surface is not in direct contact, the starting power is small and the service life is long.
