What are the precautions for installation of Y-shaped sealing ring?

The installation precautions of Y-shaped sealing ring mainly include the following points:

1. The inner cavity structure of the Y-shaped sealing ring should be designed as simple as possible and easy to disassemble.
2. In the whole process of installation and application, if the Y-shaped sealing ring is very prone to deformation or abnormal fitness exercises, it is necessary to install the palm supporting ring.
3. The sharp edges of the part where the Y-shaped sealing ring is installed should be blunt (the arc half length is 0.1~0.3 mm), and the part where the sealing ring is based should also be chamfered during installation.
4. Try to avoid setting up the oil inlet of the seal ring according to the working pressure of the cylinder cavity or the piston rod; if it must be opened, it should be chamfered around the hole.
5. The gap between the supporting point piece and the clamping piece and the cylinder wall (or piston rod) should be small, but not too small, otherwise it is easy to cause other problems and cause damage when subjected to axial load.
6. In the high pressure application, in order to better avoid the sealing ring from squeezing into the gap, use the maintenance flat gasket.
7. When used in an office environment with heavy smoke and dust, a dust ring should be used.
8. When installing the Y-shaped sealing ring, adequately coat the lubricating grease or working oil on the cylinder cavity or the piston rod, so that the sealing ring can be installed smoothly. Especially pneumatic mechanical equipment should be coated with lubricating grease in the sealing ring and sealing cavity.
9. When designing the installation part of the sealing ring, try to avoid experiencing a large pull when installing the sealing ring.
10. Pay attention to the installation position of the sealing ring, and it is not necessary to make the working pressure effect on the opposite side of the sealing ring.
